ORGANIC WASTE RECYCLING PROGRAM
The City began to implement AB 1826, a state legislation that requires local jurisdictions to implement an organic waste recycling program to divert waste generated by businesses and multifamily residential dwellings with five or more units. By the end of Fiscal Year 2016-17, five multifamily dwellings in the City were recruited to start the program.
