Since 2009, Santa Monica reduced homelessness by 20%, while L.A. County has seen a 21% increase to over 46,000 people. Integrated staff teams are helping to shape innovative new projects county-wide and contribute resources to regional efforts to build capacity and empower neighboring communities to reduce homelessness.

THE CITY'S ONLINE SERVICE HUB
During FY 14/15, 10,474 requests received were, on average, closed within 5.5 days. During FY 15/16, 13,121 requests received were, on average, closed within 5.1 days. The most common GO requests are related to Graffiti (822), Lost & Found (877), Public Records Requests (832), Bus Operator Concerns (1031), and Leafblowers (612).
Expanded fiber optic network
Santa Monica CityNet installed 18 new circuits to the fiber network, 1,460 linear feet of fiber infrastructure to deliver superior service to Santa Monica businesses and start-ups in Silicon Beach.
